4.9 Hematoxylin and Eosin (H&E) staining service

Hematoxylin & Eosin staining (H&E) is widely used for routine examination of tissue structure. This staining technique is used for medical diagnosis and quality control of processed tissue specimens in the histology lab. Special stains such as Acid Fast Bacilli (AFB), Alcian Blue, Periodic Acid Schiff (PAS), Gram, Congo Red, and Toluidine Blue are also available to detect, visualize and evaluate particular tissue structures, elements or substances.

H&E STAINING INCLUDES:

Staining of sectioned paraffin embedded tissue or cell pellet using Hematoxylin and Eosin. Add-on services are available for tissue processing, embedding and sectioning prior to H&E staining.

Deliverables:

Cover-slipped H&E stained slide.

SPECIAL STAINING
